Mayor Johnson and Congressmember Delgado Talk UBI in Town Hall

Mayor Kamal Johnson, who is a vital supporter of HudsonUP, has been holding virtual town hall meetings this spring about the Coronavirus, addressing Hudson’s residents with live streams of conversations with city officials and community leaders. At the third virtual town hall, on May 20, Mayor Johnson discussed HudsonUP and universal basic income with Congressmember Antonio Delgado. 

A preview: “The brunt of what’s happening right now, aside from the health end, but just economically, has fallen upon those who don’t even have the capacity to really bear the brunt.
